You should have your email address and your phone number before joining Fiverr as a freelancer.
Because it will be used in the verification of your Fiverr account.
Step 1:
Open any browser and go to www.fiverr.com
Step 2:
Click on the “Become a Seller” option.
Step 3:
Click on this green “Become a Seller” button.
Step 4:
For guiding you on how to join Fiverr as a freelancer, I am continuing with a google account.
But if you would like, in this step, you can continue with your Facebook, Google, or Apple account.
Or, if you want to continue with another email address like hotmail.com or yahoo.com, etc then you can enter your email in the box which says “Enter your email”.
Step 5:
I would advise you to think about your username first and then choose it.
Because it will be visible on your profile and with all of your services/gigs.
Also, you would not be able to change it later. And many of us choose our usernames randomly.
But later at a point, we feel that it should be something other and then we search for how to change Fiverr username.

Now at the top bar, you will see the notification that “Your account has been created”

Step 1:
In the top right corner, click on your profile picture.
Step 2:
Click on “Profile”
Now, on your profile page, let us fill in all the details to make it look professional.
Step 3:
Profile Picture
First of all, click here and upload your professional photo.
The photo will look more professional and fit if it is in square 1:1 ratio size and has a professional background. If you need any help with photo editing, you can take my service on Fiverr.
You should use your own photo and it should be clearly show your face.
Step 4:
Bio
Click on this small pencil button to write something about yourself in a line.
Here you can write anything about yourself.
For example:
“Satisfaction of customers is my top priority”
Or anything other which defines you or your services best.
Step 5:
Write something that can make a good impression on your potential buyers when they will visit your profile.
Then click on the green “update” button.
Step 6:
Profile Description
If you scroll down the page a bit, you will see the option to write a description.
Here you can write a description about yourself and explain yourself and the experience and expertise that you have.
After writing the description, click on the green “update” button to save the description.
Step 7:
Languages
Under the description, you will see the “languages” section.
Here you can select up to 4 languages and your level in those languages.
Click on the “add new” option then select your language and proficiency level in that language.
After adding language and proficiency level, click on the green “Add” button.
Step 8:
Linked Accounts
Here you can link your other accounts with your Fiverr account.
These will remain private and will not be visible to the public.
It is just to increase your profile’s credibility for Fiverr’s system.

Skills
In the skills section, click on add new button.
One by one, search and add all the skills that you are good at. Also, select the experience level for each skill.
After selecting a skill and its experience level. Click on the green “add button” to save it. Similarly, you can add more than 1 skill.
Step 10:
Education
Under skills, you will see the “education” section. Click on the “Add new” button
Select the country of your college/university, the name of your college/university, the title and major of your degree, and the year of graduation.
Then click on the green “Add” button to save it.
Similarly, you can add more than 1 degree here.
Step 11:
Certifications
In the certifications section, click on the “Add new” button to add a certificate/award (if you have any).
Enter the certificate/award name, the company name you earned it from, and the year when you earned it.
Then click on the green “Add” button to save it.
If you have multiple certificates/awards then you can add them all one by one using the same method.

To secure your account on Fiverr, you should enable two-factor authentication.

After enabling two-factor authentication, your account will be safe.
If two-factor authentication is enabled, no one can open your account even if they know your password.
Because they will need to enter a code to verify which will be sent to your email address and/or your mobile phone when someone will try to open your account even with the correct password.
How to enable two-factor authentication? (Step-By-Step)
Step 1:
Click on your profile picture and go to settings.
Step 2:
Enable this toggle button and your two-factor authentication will get enabled.
From now, whenever you will try to log into your account from a new device, it will ask you to submit the code that they sent you to your email address to verify it is really you.
If you want to receive this code in the future on your mobile phone too, then you will have to verify your phone number too.
How to verify the phone number on Fiverr? (Step-By-Step)
Step 1:
On the settings page, click on the “verify now” green button in front of the “PHONE VERIFICATION” option.
Step 2:
Enter your country and your phone number and click on the “Verify by SMS” or “Verify by Call” option.
Then you will receive a verification code via message or call depending upon which option you select here.
Step 3:
Enter the verification code that you received on your phone and click on the “Submit Code” green button.
