The reason why email addresses are not used is that when a user changes their email address then the email address will get updated in the database too, and then Fiverr would not be able to get the data of that email address in their database.

Can we keep the same email address?

To use this same email address in a new Fiverr account, you would have to disconnect this email address from your current account before deactivating this account.

1- Go to your profile setting.

2- In the EMAIL section, type your new email and click on the

save changes green button.

3- After this, you will receive an email at your current email address for confirmation. After your confirmation you will receive another email on your new email address to finalize it, then your email address will be successfully updated.

After this process, you will be able to use your disconnected email address in your new Fiverr account.

Now, before you create a new account, you must deactivate your this current account.

Before you deactivate your account, must withdraw your funds from your account.

To deactivate your account follow the below steps:

1- Go to your profile setting

2- Select the reason for deactivating the account and click on the “Deactivate Account” green button.

Hurray!!

Now you can make a new Fiverr account with a new username.

If you have a seller account with a good reputation and with good ratings, in this case, I don’t think you should deactivate your account just for the username.

Because when you will deactivate your current account, you will lose all the positive feedbacks that your gigs have.

And we all know it takes a lot of time and effort to make the client satisfied to earn those positive ratings.
